A bit of history...
As a native of St. Louis, Missouri, I began singing pop songs at a very young age and won my first talent show in kindergarten by performing Harry Belafonte's - "Banana Boat Song". Throughout grade school I sang solos at school functions and performed at the parties of relatives, joined my first rock group in the 8th grade, began getting paid to perform with bands at various high school dances throughout St.Louis County in the 9th grade, and continued performing Rock and R & B with bands throughout high school and just after, at high school & college dances, and small clubs & lounges. It was around 1970 when I gave up performing and began devoting my life to the pursuit & promotion of holistic health & medicine, and to that end, have worn many hats from owning health stores, teaching & practicing therapeutic massage & acupressure, writing magazine articles about herbal medicine, and representing various nutritional & herbal product manufacturers.
In 1996 I authored: "Cat's Claw, The Wondrous Herb From The Peruvian Rainforest" , an educational booklet that was sold in health stores throughout the U.S. - And, throughout the mid 1990's, I authored a number of magazine articles about Cat's Claw and other herbal medicines. These articles appeared in "The Townsend Letter for Doctors," and over 30 other holistic & natural health publications in The U.S., Australia, New Zealand and Poland. Also, from the mid to late 90's, I published "Cat's Claw News " which later became "Amazon Herb & Nutrition News" for the purpose of educating the public on the health benefits of numerous nutritional & herbal dietary supplements. Then from January 2000 to March 2013, I was involved in marketing to, and educating health practitioners on the use of Clinically Effective Nutritional & Herbal Dietary Supplements throughout Illinois.
After a 35 plus year lay off from performing, I came to realize how much I missed it over the years, so I decided to pick up my microphone again (actually a new Sennheiser) to focus on performing the "Songs of Frank Sinatra" & other crooners (Dean Martin, Tony Bennett, Bobby Darin, etc.) who I have so much enjoyed listening to, going all the way back to my High School days. Since 2007, it has become my passion to perform these timeless standards for everyone's enjoyment.
